Booking Terms & Conditions

Pangolin International t/a PANGOLIN PHOTO SAFARIS reserves the right to amend the invoiced amount accordingly should the Government change the percentage level of VAT, if park entrance fees are increased, airport taxes or airfares are increased between the completion of this form and the date of final payment.

PANGOLIN PHOTO SAFARIS reserves the right to amend its policies, terms and conditions for bookings, without prior notice.

Please ensure that you have all the correct visas, where applicable, for travel to the countries in your itinerary. Should you not do so and be refused entry to a country on your itinerary then this will be regarded as a no-show and attract a 100% cancellation fee.

Pangolin International cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred due to factors beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to): force majeure, war, the threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, pandemics, health risks, and changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, acts of God and any other similar event. In these instances deferment of travel to a later date can be arranged or a credit note that can be put towards future travel with Pangolin International will be issued. The standard cancellation policy will cease to be applicable to existing bookings. This is at the discretion of Pangolin International on advisement by the appropriate international travel and medical advisories such as the World Health Organisation. Before a deferment can be confirmed full and final payment of the original invoice must be made before the original final payment due date. Pangolin International reserves the right to amend their standard terms and conditions without written notice.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

A 50% deposit will be required once the invoice has been raised to secure your booking. The balance will be due 60 DAYS prior to the date of travel.
Deposits and final payments are to be paid gross and free of all bank charges. Remitter to cover all fees.

Please use the invoice number as your banking reference number and send proof of payment to accounts@pangolinphoto.com.

Please only make payments to the bank account details stated on this invoice. If in doubt as to where to pay please call the reservations office on +27 (0)21 418 2312 during South African office hours (GMT +2)

In the event of a cancellation then the following cancellation policy will apply:

•  25% of the total invoiced between the date of deposit payment and 91 days prior to the date of travel.
•  50% of the total invoiced amount if cancelled 90 days prior to the date of travel.
•  100% of the total invoiced amount if cancelled less than 61 days prior to the date of travel.
•  No Show 100% of the invoiced amount.

Please note that all cancellations are only effective once confirmed in writing by our sales office. Please note that all refunds are subject to commission and/or bank charges.

We strongly suggest that you take out personal travel insurance when you pay your deposit to protect against unforeseen circumstances that might lead you to have to cancel your booking. Be aware that most policies will only cover for medical-related reasons for you or your direct family. Read the insurance policy carefully.
